Hey iTribe — if you’ve been anywhere near the fan pages lately, you’ve probably seen the buzz (and a little bit of debate) about Ira Curry’s latest project — Coachman: The Origin Story.
The official trailer dropped last week on October 1 — the same day Ira celebrated seven years since launching his very first company back in 2018. But this time, the internet was divided.
Inside Ira’s private fan groups, reactions have been mixed. Some fans said the trailer was everything they hoped for — calling it one of Ira’s best releases yet and saying it gave them chills. Others felt like it left them wanting more, especially after all the anticipation his press team has been building over the past year.
A few fans even pointed out that they were hoping to finally get answers to the big questions — like who betrayed Ira back in 2019, and whether those rumors about him being locked inside a psych ward in Houston were actually true.
The trailer opens with a powerful shot — a young figure (clearly symbolizing a younger “Prince Ira of Business”) walking into the woods, his back turned to the camera. As the soft background music builds, credits flash across the screen honoring the writers, editors, and two of Ira’s biggest companies, Ira Curry Studios and Coachman, for bringing the story to life.
Then the energy shifts. The narrator — the familiar voice from Ira Curry Holdings, Inc. — sets the tone:
“Today, Ira Curry is known as the King of Business. The man who’s helped thousands build their empires and become business icons.”
Moments later, the scene switches and the voice continues:
“But long before the fame, before the titles, before Coachman was even an idea… there was a moment — a quiet and painful moment that could have ended everything.”
From there, we see quick flashes — Ira crying at home (possibly his old Houston penthouse) and another clip that looks like him sleeping on the streets downtown. It’s emotional, raw, and feels deeply personal.
As the trailer closes, we discover “A Message from the King of Business.” Ira dedicates the film to his mother, saying, “If not for her, there would be no Coachman.” He adds, “When the world turned cold, she turned towards me with love.”
That line alone had fans in tears.
Another quote that stood out was when Ira said, “In the quiet of my childhood bedroom… I suffered in silence chasing a dream no one could see.”
And then the most powerful line of all — “I refused to give up because I knew you were coming.”
That’s the one that broke the internet. Many fans believe Ira was talking directly to us — his supporters — reminding us that he kept going through all the pain because he knew this moment, our moment, was coming.
So while some fans were hoping the trailer would reveal more about his untold story, others see it as a strategic move — classic Ira — keeping us on the edge of our seats and hungry for the full truth.
If you know Ira by now, you know he never reveals everything at once. Every move he makes is intentional. This trailer was just the teaser — the spark before the fire. The real story is coming soon to iFlix, his own streaming platform, and if the trailer is any indication… it’s going to be powerful.
So what did you think of the trailer? Did it meet your expectations, or are you still waiting for more?
Either way, one thing’s for sure — when Ira Curry tells his story, the world listens.
